Okay, if you've been paying attention to these entries (how nice of you!) you will probably have noticed that I am up two pounds since the last entry, 2 weeks ago. Which of course, was the same week I headed out on vacation.
I feel bad about this, but not that bad. After all, I have eaten shamelessly for the last 10-12 days.
I ate (without care for calories) yummy meals with our friends both at their house and while dining out. I had delicious diner breakfasts, lunches and dinners in 3 different cities. I had New York city deli (corned beef!), and real Italian pizza. I had Chinese food in Chinatown and ice cream from the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory for dessert.
And I had the local delicacy I still miss, Freihoffer's chocolate chip cookies. The sort I used to scarf by the box freshman year at SUNY Albany because the food on campus was so bad and in such nasty conditions, I couldn't eat in the dining halls.
Only then I lost 20 pounds. And this two weeks I've gained 2.
Oh well. Back to the straight and narrow (that is, keeping within my points--I gave up last week around Sunday!) on Weight Watchers. Back to ballet class next week when Lynne gets home from HER well deserved vacation--and I'd better start stretching again this week.
It's a setback. But I'm still down 12 pounds from where I started.
So I know I CAN do this.
